International Builders Show 2023, Feb 27 - Feb 29, 2024
The International Builders’ Show (IBS) is organized annually by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and is the largest light construction building industry tradeshow in the United States. It is the only event of its kind, focusing specifically on the needs, concerns, and opportunities that face builders.
Several years ago, ESC took over as the lead organization on a large, comprehensive exhibit space to represent the natural gas industry at the show. Through the work of the ESC IBS Consortium, in partnership with AGA, we have been able to maintain a successful and effective presence at IBS.
We have recently experienced increased traffic volume at the ESC-AGA booth due to an expanding number of states and localities attempting to ban or significantly limit the use of natural gas in new construction and/or renovations. Builders and remodelers routinely visit the booth at the show, both to express their concerns over these developments and to ask questions about the industry’s involvement.
Now more than ever, it is critically important that the natural gas utility industry maintain a presence at the show.
While we are fortunate to have the support of the utility members of the ESC IBS Consortium, as well as 10-12 vendors of natural gas equipment that join us to showcase their products and the value of natural gas, the cost of maintaining the booth presence at the show continues to increase.
We need your support to be able to continue to promote the value of natural gas to the light construction industry. Even if you are unable to attend the show in person, your contribution allows us work with builders and remodelers on behalf of the entire utility industry.
