FEAT is designed for sales and marketing personnel from energy supply companies and furnace users to perform detail cost analysis and cost comparison of heat-treating furnaces.

This tool can be used for fuel-fired or electrically heated batch and continuous heat-treating furnaces. It’s in Microsoft Access 2000 format with appropriate forms that allow users to enter necessary data related to the selected furnaces.

Cost analysis accounts for hourly operating cost, depreciation, and economic benefits associated with increased productivity and other items that affect overall production cost with the use of either gas or electricity energy sources.
