Founded in 1930, Clayton
Industries pioneered the development of controlled circulation Steam
Generators, a type of Water Tube Boiler, starting with very small capacity
units (8 BHP). Today, Clayton builds Generators and Fluid Heaters that
range in size from 20 to 700 BHP. These compact, fuel-efficient, units
offer many advantages and are installed individually or in multiples
in some of the large plants in the world today.

- Multi-fuel capable
Clayton currently
offers Steam Generators and Fluid Heaters in 15 sizes ranging from 20
to 700 Boiler Horsepower (BHP) – 690 to 24,150 pounds of steam
per hour. These units are controlled flow, water tube boilers, built
to the appropriate national and local standards, using high quality
materials and workmanship. Units are designed to burn natural gas, propane,
light oil and heavy oil, as well as a combination of these fuels and
are available with steam design pressures up to 3000 psig. Superheat
Units, which provide superheated steam, are also available in a variety
of sizes and for a range of steam pressures and temperatures.
Industry today
is faced with tighter regulations with regards to emissions. The requirement
to clean-up the environment has placed an ever increasing burden on
all of us to look for better and cleaner ways to utilize our natural
resources. In keeping with a long-standing tradition of innovations
and quality, Clayton Industries is pleased to provide low emissions
combustion systems to meet your specific air permitting requirements.
Our Ultra Low NOx-Low
CO burner was developed by Clayton and the American Gas Association
Research Laboratories, with support from the Southern California Gas
Company, the California South Coast Air Quality Management District
and the Gas Research Institute. This advanced burner technology provides
ultra-low emissions, combined with the highest thermal efficiencies
typically found in Clayton Steam Generators and Fluid Heaters.
