SoCalGas has become the largest natural gas distribution utility in the country. SoCalGas serves a territory of 23,000-square-miles that ranges from central California to the Mexican border. All but 1,200 of the 5 million meters in our service territory serve core customers -- residential and small commercial users. The remainder serve noncore customers -- large volume commercial, industrial and electric generating users.

Including gas transported for customers and direct sale to customers, SoCalGas delivers nearly 1 trillion cubic feet of gas a year, or about 5 percent of all gas delivered in the United States.
