Kawasaki Gas Turbine technology has been a major force and prime mover in the aircraft industry for many years. This technology's history of exceptional power and reliability has been its greatest advantage. With improvements in efficiency and other manufacturing technologies over the past 30 years, Kawasaki Gas Turbines has become a major player in the Power Generation Market.

Today, Kawasaki is ranked as the world leader in industrial (non-aeroderivative) gas turbine "Dry Low Emission" (DLE) technology as a result of its experience in developing and expanding the market with superior performing standby, baseload and co-generation power plants. And as the only manufacturer currently using Xonon™ Equipped Combusters, the choice is simple - for the most efficient, cleanest and cost-effective power generation, choose Kawasaki.

Kawasaki Series

GPS Series are rated for standby power production. Models are available from 200 to 3,600 kW in a single unit.

GPB Series are rated for baseload, continuous duty electric power production. The ratings are as contained in the above table.

GPC/GPCC Series are designed for continous duty cogeneration applications. The ratings are essentially the same as in the above table; this line has the addition of the waste heat boiler/heat recovery system built into the package.

Emissions - Xonon

Standard units NOx = 14 - 25 ppm, CO = 50 ppm (at O2 = 15%)

GPB15X, 1.5 MW equiped with Xonon Emissions Control System
NOx < 3 ppm, CO < 10 ppm, VOC < 2 ppm

Xonon is an integral combustion/catalyst system that requires NO post exhaust clean-up or treatment.
