Ida
Tech PEM
(1 and 3kW)

We are building strategic relationships
with private industry, market leaders with established channels of distribution,
and with the electric utility industry. In 1999, IdaTech joined the IDACORP,
Inc. (NYSE: IDA), family of companies that include Idaho Power Company,
a regulated utility, and Idacorp Technologies, a non-regulated subsidiary
of IDACORP. Backed by more than $2 billion in assets, IDACORP is committed
to keeping IdaTech on the leading edge of what analysts consistently predict
will be a future of unparalleled growth.
In 2000, IdaTech formed a strategic alliance with Tokyo Boeki to introduce
our components and systems to markets in Japan and Asia. In addition to
representing IdaTech’s interest in Asia, Tokyo Boeki also made an
equity investment in the company in anticipation of a long-term relationship.

Fuel Cell
Systems
A number of business and development partners are currently testing and
evaluating IdaTech’s five and one kilowatt systems. At the heart
of the fuel cell system is our patented fuel processor, capable of converting
methanol into 99.95% pure hydrogen with < 1 ppm CO. Additionally, IdaTech
is accelerating its ability to reform other conventional fuels including
natural gas, propane, diesel and kerosene.
The system's unique design includes a fuel processor module, a PEM fuel
cell module, as well as control equipment and electronics known as balance
of plant.
FCS 1200
The FCS 1200 is a fully integrated, portable fuel cell system
that combines Ballard Power System's 1.2
kW Nexa™ fuel cell stack with IdaTech's FPM 20 fuel processor. The
self-contained system has a fuel tank, complete balance of plant and an
optional pure sine wave inverter. With one-touch start capability, the
FCS 1200 sets a new industry standard for ease of operation.
