I Power Energy Systems, LLC

I Power Energy Systems provide a “best in class” design and assembly of forward compliant products which exceed today’s regulatory limits. I Power’s energy|now CHP equipment comes in many flavors, such as 85kW to 100kW, and including a low Btu 65kW package for renewable fuels. All generator packages are available in Outdoor, Indoor, Induction, or Synchronous versions.
I Power Energy Systems’ technical staff is completely fluent on what is necessary to implement co-generation equipment into customer’s facilities and offers product specific options to minimize installation costs. Some of these options are ultra low emissions package, process load heat exchanger, top entry utilities (indoor version), and power factor correction (induction).
Energy|now internal combustion engines
Energy|now internal combustion (IC) systems incorporate solid state control algorithms, the latest advances in interconnect electronics and a sequencing capability for a Multi-Pak™ configuration.
IC ENI 85 and ENI 115

The energy|now 85 and 115 internal combustion Endura™ Engines provide durable, efficient, low emission technologies that are demonstrating on-site availability greater than 92%. This unsurpassed performance may be used in many different modes of operation such as base load, load following, peak shave and standby.
Key to Success

Economic feasibility is the key to successful cogen implementation, and system reliability is the key to economic feasibility. I Power’s Endura™ cylinder head configuration is one of the many value adds that lower costs and improve life cycle. I Power has optimized the cylinder head design to provide trouble-free operation for 12,000 hours – the longest cylinder head life in the natural gas industry in this class. This is the result of carefully engineered component choices, manufacturing process disciplines, and dimensional controls. I Power combined input from the motorsports industry with their own field test analysis to create the long life Endura™ cylinder head (patent pending).
Regulatory limits typically push technology to producing lower cost better performing equipment. I Power’s success in this arena is provided a forward compliant product on multiple levels. Emissions regulations for stationary equipment from the mid 1980’s have drastically changed. I Power with its control strategy has been providing a trouble-free low emissions unit since product launch. Source testing feedback from the field has been providing very exciting feedback from the local AQMD authorities and I Power’s customers are excited to permit their new ENI equipment below the standards.
