Clayton Industries
Over thirty years ago, Clayton developed a line of exhaust gas steam generators for the marine industry. Today, Clayton offers a full line of heat recovery systems for marine, industrial, and power plant applications (co-generation). Our products are in operation around the world, recovering heat from engines, turbines, ovens, and furnaces. The heat input can be as little as 250 °C (482 °F) or as much as 1,200 °C (2,292 °F) Co-generation is the most popular use for the Clayton Heat Recovery/Exhaust Gas Steam Generator. The Clayton Exhaust Gas Boiler consists of a number of sections. Each section contains four to six spirally wound “pancakes”. The sections are stacked between inlet and outlet cones to provide efficient gas flow, heat transfer, and steam or hot water production.
