Since launching a multi-year strategic growth plan in 2001, Yankee Gas has installed miles of new mains and hundreds of new natural gas services, connecting more Connecticut homes and businesses with America's #1 fuel choice. And in an effort to keep prices stable for our customers, Yankee Gas has started construction of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility in Waterbury. Our plan is to have the facility in service for the 2007/2008 heating season.
